Did you know that being American means you are from the continent, not just the United States? The United States is part of America, but it is not America by itself.

For too long, the U.S. has claimed sole ownership of the American identity, ignoring the rich cultures and histories of other American nations. This mindset has been both selfish and discriminatory, erasing the true meaning of what it means to be American.

I want to challenge the idea that the term “American” does NOT belong solely to the United States citizens! While still celebrating the unique culture of the U.S. I want residents of the United States to take pride in their individual states, and through that, feel united as one proud nation of 50 states.

Through this website, I aim to bring together artists, designers, historians. Anyone with a voice and pride in their American heritage, wherever they’re from on this continent. With a quick screening, they’ll be able to set up a page to showcase their work and merchandise.
